How to set up wireless printing with disc

Here are the minimum details needed to answer this kind of question:

1. Operating System :
Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows Vista?
2. Printer make/model:
(this is important to determine the wireless properties of printer)
3. Network Connection:
(is the laptop connected to the same network as the printer)

If you are working with a new printer (see item 2) and you have a network on which you have your notebook connected, there are so many possible ways to connect the printer to the network that it's hard to say.

If you are working with an established printer that has wireless services running, you may need to know either the Network Name of the printer or the IP Address of the printer.

Your best bet is to make use of hp's extensive Wireless Printing Center (see link below).

My new canon printer MP620B will not print from my wireless notebook unless connected by cable how do I make it print wireless?

I could not find much specific info regarding your MP620B. However, the MP600 series of printers support wireless "snap and print" from an infrared-enabled mobile camera phone (when held within 8" of the printer - max. jpg size 3 MB) or wireless printing from a compatible Bluetooth device with the optional USB Bluetooth adapter (max distance approx. 10 meters - may vary).

Please check your manual for more information.

Wifi laptop will not print to printer - not a wifi printer

Check if the printer has a wireless option. Actually this issue is complex. First thing first, you can print wirelessly from your laptop within the WIFI range in a case that your printer do have wireless on in. It is impossible to print wirelessly from the wired printer through LAN.

One thing, I guess you don't have a wireless router. You need to have a wireless router like LINKSYS that is easy to setup then try to connect wirelessly to the wired printer. There I am not too sure if your can do a printing option from your laptop wirelessly.

Lastly, check if you have a ROUTER and need to set it up on your laptop and on the network LAN. You may now have a NETWORK printer in this regards. Thank you.

You should turn off the printer and the computer.
Unplug the printer. Turn on the computer. Bring it all the way up. Turn off the computer. Plug in the Lexmark. Turn on both machines. Install the printer driver.

Wireless printing

Check the printer's manual if the software of this printer already supports winVista. If it is, you may connect the printer directly to the PC and check if you'll be able to print.

Hope this helps!
