Welcome to Fixya!
You will need to remove the RAM modules and clean their gold fingered connectors with tissue paper. Also clean the RAM slots with a vaccum cleaner, be very careful through. Once cleaned install the RAM modules one at a time as one may be faulty and then power on your computer.
Take care!

thanks for the tip but it didnt work.. the memory was brand new and I clean the ram slots but still the same... if I leave no memory card on it , it beeps one time long and non stop
Oh Ok, this could mean that the mainboard is not able to recognise the new memory in that is is not able to allocate the correct specifications. Clear the BIOS/CMOS by either removing that BIOS/CMOS battery for 10minutes or using the Clear CMOS jumper. Once cleared you will need to enter the BIOS on boot up. Tap the delete key repeatedly on powering on your computer. You will need to set the date and time. This process will bring your computer to defaults again. I would remove the CPU and reinstall it. Be sure to that there is a good amount of thermal interface paste over the core. Take care!

i just found out what it was...the build in graphics card wasnt working...so I bought it a new graphic card and install the windows again... but now I have some other problem...sometimes it shuts down by itself....any idea what it could be????
Shuting down by itself is a symtom of overheating. Either CPU, Northbridge or Graphics card. My money is on the CPU. Check that the heatsink is secured and flat. If you have enough time enter the BIOS and view the tempreatures of the components in the System Health or Thermal section of the BIOS. Install additional fans in your chassis. You may need to clean the CPU cooler of dust. The graphics card that you have now installed will require at most 75watts of power from your systems Power Supply underload, unless it requires an additional 6pin power connector in which case it will pull an additional 150Watt from the PSU. What graphics card did you purchase and what is your power supply rated at? This info can be found on the side of the Power Supply, it may be some-thing to keep in mind at this point. Also once Windows is installed, be sure to install the new graphics drivers as well as you mainboard drivers found on the CD that came with your mainboard. Take care! damnor01
ok...I bought a new socket and a new heatsink for it ....just waiting to get it....(bought it online, so it takes a while to get it ) and i swap the psu... now I have 500 watts psu...should do the job...the graphic card was a Galaxy GeForce 8400 GS...bought it a new chassis fan as well....thanks for all the help....I will keep you updated for now on until the problem is completly solved.... thanks again.....
