When you say it won't turn over do you mean it won't crank, the engine does not spin?

1999 eclipse no spark

On the 2.0 and 2.4 engines there is an ignition module that fires the coil from input from the computer and sensors.
You may have to get a shop manual to have the testing procedures needed to check the module.

My car ran fine i parked it for about 3 to 4 months now it wont crank

Sounds like your battery went "south". Try jump starting it or charge battery and see if it holds a charge.

You have two pumps,I guess you know that ,if you already did one. Did you check fuel pressure at the rail and check out the electronic pressure regulator? What codes are coming up and do they stay set?

2003 Mitsubishi Spyder Eclipse, green wrench/car lt, not running

that means it needs service. also probly means that something is either loose or broken wise. you were probobly receiving a service engine soon signal when you put the keys in the ignition and turn it one slot to where the car is running on battery so the radio should work. and thats where the idicators would of been going on. and you probobly didnt notice those

My 2000 eclipse wont start up all the way

I have the same problem on my 2002 Eclipse RS 2.4l 4 cylinder. Replaced the battery, starter, fuel pump(not at one time) . It started up when I had the starter put on as well the fuel pump. But everytime I started the car up it ran good till I turned it off the problem was still there. The car sounds like it wants to start but it sputters you can smell the gas so I know its getting fuel. it starts up fine with a cold start like in the morning.

Try getting a diagnostic thats what Im going to do next week.
good luck!!!

2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse won't start in the winter...(15,000km)

Try using a fuel treatment. Sometimes water builds up in the lines and makes it hard for the car to start cuz you can't combust something thats frozen... I'd recommend Lucas Fuel Treatment... either that, or maybe new spark plugs, though if the dealer thought they were fine, I don't think that's the case.
