Hello

Check the power supply. Make sure the microwave is firmly plugged into a working electrical outlet and that your wall outlet is active if your home uses outlets controlled by a wall switch. Check your home's fuses or circuit breakers to ensure they have not been tripped. Without power the microwave will not respond to any input.

Make sure the parental lock is inactive. Some ovens, like the one shown in the image above, feature a keypad lock to prevent children playing with the controls. Most keypad locks can be cancelled by holding down a button or combination of buttons for a few seconds.

Make sure the door is firmly closed. Some microwave ovens will not allow any control panel input if the door is open.

Remove the microwave from the power, wait 10 seconds, then plug it back in. This will reset the microwave oven if there is a temporary problem with the software.

Press the "Stop/Cancel" button several times to cancel the current operation and return the microwave to standby mode. Re-enter your cooking instructions using the keypad as usual.

Why is my samsung microwave showing -se-

It thinks it has a shorted membrane switch on the control panel. Unplug it for a minimum of 30 minutes to see if the code clears. If it doesn't, you might actually have a bad switch, and the touch pad might have to be replaced.

What does this mean on my Samsung smh9151 microwave oven? -SE-

The SE error indicates a short was detected at the key pad. This could be a problem with the wiring (dirt at a connection) or a bad circuit board. If your microwave is under warranty, contact Samsung.

Since microwaves have high voltage, you may not want to try to fix this yourself. If you do, make sure to be careful. Some have fixed the error after unplugging the microwave. Then disassemble the microwave keypad area. Disconnect the various wires and clean all of the contacts. (Do one wire harness at a time so that you replace them in the right place.) Reassemble and plug in the microwave. Test if the SE error returns. If the error remains, then the control board needs to be replaced. To get the entire keypad and control board, seehttp://www.repairclinic.com/Shop-For-Parts/a6b160i468/Samsung-Microwave-Touchpad-And-Control-Panel-Parts . The board alone is here: http://www.repairclinic.com/Shop-For-Parts/a6b160i324/Samsung-Microwave-Control-Board-Parts .

I hope this helps.

Microwave started beeping with nothing in it now it says SE or 5E

These issues are usally due to a defective touchpad or control board. Troubleshooting would require disconnecting the touchpad ribbon cable from the control board to see if that made the problem go away.

Key pad flashing se . key pad locked pease tell me what to do iam a disabled lady need help please

"SE" error means you have a shorted membrane keypad.

You would need to have either the membrane keypad itself replaced, or the control panel frame assembly which comes with a new keypad, or the whole controller.

Part numbers and prices will of course depend on the model number.
