Judging by the part number from the service manual, a compatible part number is 488590-001 Googling around for this part number returns a few options that are black:
if there is no switch on the sides......look at the Function keys across the keyboard.....find the key with the little wireless thingie on it and depress that key and the FN button at the same time.......FN F8 if I recall correctly
Hi! There
is a small wireless key above the keyboard(not embedded in the F keys)
that shout be orange with the wireless picture displaying if it has been
turned of. Hope this helps.
While the model is not the same, the method is the same. The key board procedure begins on page 61. If it becomes necessary to pry on the plastics, use a guitar pick or some other hard plastic item to pry not medal. I use a pot scraping tool found at kitchen supply stores for about a dollar. Good luck.
Try the following tips;
1. Press Fn key once, release it and type on a notepad or etc....
2. Press Fn + Numlock (press simultaneous as you press ctrl+c to copy) once and test the type again.
This key combination is to activate and deactivate function key (Fn).
1. Power on (NO Disc.) 2. Press Pause 3. Enter 314159(with remote) Display will show "FF" 4. Quickly press "0" (for all region) 5. Press pause 6. Power off and powere on after 20 secs.
