Sony BRAVIA kdl60nx810 parts, tv base stand. Parts are cracked. Looks like there are three parts, one which mounts to the back of the HDTV which slides over another part which is mounted to the base plate. I need the part numbers for the whole tv base stand assy and the part which mounts to the HDTV back case and the round part which mounts to the Base Plate which the HDTV back assy slides down over and is secured/adjusted via a Allen screw. Thanks for any help you can provide.

The base stand is part number X25483741. The neck is X25485051 and the head stand is 418829101 .

That can sometimes be caused by wall mounting screws that are too long or unevenly tightened. Sony seem to have stopped supplying parts already

I think based on this page, you could say there is an issue with 'XBR' sets and cracked screens! It says a replacement screen is about $1,000, so time for a new Samsung.

Sony bravia pedestal stand is unstable

http://www.docs.sony.com/release/SUWL31_EN_ES_FR.pdf This link will show what it looks like when removing base to wall mount.They always recomend a mounting strap that connects to the rear of the TV and then screws into the table it will be sitting on.Not sure what they expect you to do if you have a glass top table. http://www.docs.sony.com/release/SUWL31_EN_ES_FR.pdf

How do I remove the stand of the Sony Bravia XBR KDL-V40XBR1 so i can wall-mount the tv?

you have to lay the tv on it's front on something to protect it from being damaged.on the back you'll see where the base joins the bottom of the display, this needs to be unscrewed and a wall bracket screwed in instead.

Sony Bravia 40" LCD TV Stand

There is a slotted area on the bottom of the unit and the bracket on the stand slides over top of it. There should have been four screws that came with the packaging that fit in the four locations in the lower center of the cabinet back that secures the unit to the Stand.

The cheapest I have found is Videosecu Dual Arm TV Wall Mount Bracket for Sony Bravia 32 37 40 42 46 50... on amazon. I hope this was helpful. regards

800-488-7669

The stand is $107.59, and requires four screws to attach to the TV. They're $2.25. (quite the bargain!)

The model number of the stand is X21033652.

I took the base off my Sony KDL40S2000 for wall mount and now I want to put the base back but when I tried it wobbles.. What do I do?

That tv looks similar to mine with the same base.
Have you pushed the stand fully in and tighten the screws fully.

I must admit,they do not seem really stable on those little stands.
