My Frigidaire GLWS1339CS1 fills but stops about 2 inches from the top? It has done this since I bought it and otherwise works fine. A tech came out and told me to fix it would cost more than buying a new washer. Just curious is this correct?

The washer will not fill all the wayto the top.yourmachine is functioning properly.when you have an empty tub and put it on super load and fill it up there should be 12 to 14 inches of water in the tub. that is the normal operating settings for your washer.

Frigidaire heavy duty super capacity 2 speed combonation sometimes goes through cycle fine but mostly continuously fills and drains at start S.N. XE32103237 - FEZ831CAS2

All front loading washers will fill and drain multiple times before it finishes. Unlike a top loader, a front loading washer will take longer to run because there is no agitator and will fill with water and drain multiple times. A front loader is more energy efficient than a Traditional top loading washing machine. A washer dryer combo will take hours to complete a cycle.

Hi, I am trying to help daughter-in-law get their

Hello annp, thank you for your post! Based on the symptoms you are describing, it does sounds like a siphoning issue. Generally speaking, the drain hose should come up above the washer tub and please make sure the drain hose is not too deep in to the house drain pipe. The drain hose should only be submerged 4-8 inches into the house drain pipe. If correct, otherwise the unit might be experiencing a communication with the control board and water fill valve. At this point, please reach out to an expert technician to ensure the appropriate replacement part is ordered and is installed correctly to prevent future issues. I hope this information helps to some degree - please do not hesitate to reconnect.

Glws1339cs1, started making noise like a belt was slipping during the spin cycle

Hello Bill Johnson - Is the washer draining or spinning? Could it possibly be a humming noise? If it is not doing either or and making a humming noise then it could possibly have a restriction in the drain line. Or either the belt is loose and will have to be put around the transmission and then spin it on to the motor or there is an issue with the lower/upper bearing. I would suggest contacting a professional to move forward accurately to properly diagnose/repair the washer.

My machine will fill but it just constantly drains what do we need to do

Hi and welcome to FixYa, I am Kelly. Lift the end of your washer drain hose up as far as you can in the drain without pulling it out and tie it off so that the elbow it at least 2 to 3 inches higher than before. This sounds like your having a siphoning problem. The tub fills up... the siphon starts it may or may not agitate but will stop and fill often. If after you do this and perform testing / a normal wash you still have the problem; just respond here so we can troubleshoot further.

I recently bought a Glacier Bay 303-635 All-in-One toilet. It was installed just fine, however everytime I flush the toilet the tank fills up to the water line, but the spout over the water line tube keeps...

Try adjusting the water level down about a half inch or so and see if that helps. It could just be siphoning. Otherwise the valve may be defective. Hope this helps.

43 inch phillips projection t.v

There is no bulb or color wheel in a standard projection set. The standard projection set has convergence output IC's that correct the 3 colors around the edges of the picture. If one of these IC's burns out then one color may sag toward the center at the top. The defective convergence IC will have to be replaced and the convergence circuits realigned and that should be done by a qualified tech.
