Hey i bought a razer lycosa keyboard and the left shift button isent working at all, what do?

you will strip any coding on the keys

If you hold Ctrl and press PrtScrn it will copy an image of your screen to the clipboard.
Now you need an image editing SW, like photoshop or maybe gimp etc.. You have to create a NEW image (empty) then use EDIT function to paste the clipboard into the new image. Nw you can crop out the parts you don't want.

your keyboard utilizes keys F1-F10 as re-programmable function keys.to change your current pofile press the razer lycosa logo+functon key(f1-f10) or you can reset your keyboard to factory default settings by pressing the "Razer Logo" button for 15 seconds while the Razer Lycosa is connected to a powered on computer. NB: ALL CONFIGURATION SETTINGS WILL BE LOST WHEN YOU RESET THE RAZER LYCOSA
TO FACTORY DEFAULT SETTINGS. ALL CONFIGURATION SETTINGS WILL NEED TO BE
RE-ENTERED OR LOADED FROM THE CONTROL PANEL AFTER THE RAZER LYCOSA IS RESET.

you should turn it on if you have snap case razor download in your computer go to manage lightning and turn it on

you should turn off gaming mode of the keyboard . if you have razed snap case downloaded in your computer go to manage gaming mode off

Pull out the shift button that has gone faulty.
There are two "SHIFT" button in any keyboard. Use the other one.

is there dirt or did you spill anything on it? that could make the keys stick or not register correctly. otherwise try and take off the keyes and clean it or go buy a new keyboard. or take it back if you can.

They best thing to do is try to find a broken one on Ebay, they run around $24. I did a search for websites that sell just the keys and couldn't find any. You may be able to steal a key off another type of keyboard, but without knowing the type of mount your keys have I can't be positive that will work. The Lycosa Gaming keyboard, or any specialty gaming keyboard, will be very hard to find specific parts for.
Also, check too see if you have a keyboard withing the serial numbers posted on this website. It looks like they are recalling and replacing some of the keyboards they sent out due to defects.
