My pc cant restart aspire 5610

I have a serious problem with my pc it cant restart it showz blank space even tried to boo through cdrom to reinstall de window but showz only loading files den from that everything disapears anyone could help

    no it does not , sometimes i thought the hard drive was damaged because before when i switched it on it showed me window error and tried to restart it in seft mode but again it would sound then stop not showing anythin just blank space.. thats when i decided to reinstall de window but when i was intall the window , the procedure went well like loading files and all that but when the ime for restarting. it wont show anything..still make sound and stop from there.. no anything.

    Is your HDD rotating? You might have to get a new one.

Hi, This might be a solution:
get into setup mode (before booting) and set the settings to default.
Now, try installing the OS from the cdrom.
You may also want to check if the CD is not corrupt. try that CD with some other computer (to see it getting stuck at the same stage).

Reinstalling
Hard drive has bad sectors on it which is why its giving you that message even though you can go thru the restore. Normally going thru the system cd and then the recovery cd should bring you into windows with the device drivers installed.

Most web cams need more than just a driver to operate, try downloading CyberLinks Youcam program. It is shareware but on eof the best programs out there. There may even be a link for the program at Acer's support page for your model laptop camera.

You can check the little indicator light on the notebook.

If the hard drive was dead, that wouldn't cause the display to go blank.
If your problem was with your hard drive, you would still get the BIOS screen and then a message about being unable to load an operating system. So, I doubt if that is the problem.

My guess is that you have a relatively serious motherboard, video card, memory, or CPU problem.

When you turn it on, does it beep ? If so, how many times ? You can translate these beep codes at: http://networking.ringofsaturn.com/PC/beep.php __________________

How to format acer aspire 5610 without cd
To format your laptop you need to insert a windows installation disc into the drive, restart the machine and before windows loads up you should see a "press anykey to boot from cdrom"
press key and follow the instructions, it will give you the option to format the laptop before it reinstalls it again.

Cant get out of hibernation
does the laptop boot at all ? or just not logging to windows ?

if not logging to windows then unplug the laptop's battery the replug it and restart

if the problem remains,, try to boot in safe mode by pressing F8 continuously and then choose Safe Mode

if you success in booting in safe mode go to control panel and disable hibernate then try to reboot in normal mode
