Samsung ml 2010 blink red when give print command but not printing

you need not update firmware for this model. Pl. do the printer status monitor(SMART PANEL). Down load from samsung site and run inpc application. when print command given it will display the problem.

have you tried replace a new toner. If new toner also giving out noise. it is most likely the main drive issue.

i have riffile my smasung ml-1640 printer cartage three time then it show red light but printer works ok, after 2100 pages printed its not working properly, when i give command to print any file no error show,but print not come. and when i print a test page from printer button it gives print. but on paper write like this toner exhoasted so what i do for this problem please give me soltuion of this problem

It is not a computer problem, when your printer won't come to ready. The lights flashing are due to a failure of some sort - electronic, or perhaps a fuser warm up problem. The fact is, whatever the fault, it is cheaper to replace this printer than have it repaired.

I really don't think this will meet your requirements. I bought this as a backup when my main printer had a problem, and this one worked well for a short time, but now prints very lightly even with a new cartridge, and all proper settings.
There are better choices at this price point.

Assuming the printer can understand DOS coded printouts (which most should be able to), you can do it like this: Go to Control Panel | Printers | ML 2010 and share the printer. Then go to a command prompt Start | Run | type cmd Assuming that you share it with the share name "MYPRINTER" and the computer is called "MYCOMPUTER", then type NET USE LPT2: \\MYCOMPUTER\MYPRINTER /PERSISTENT:YES at a command prompt. Now you can print to LPT2: and the output will go to the USB-connected printer. To find your computer name, right click on the My Computer icon (either on your desktop or the start menu) and choose properties. The window that opens will have a Computer Name tab.
