Philips 37pf7320a/37 picture issues.

Hello there. I have a philips flap panel LCD and when I left for workthis morning the TV worked fine, came home about 8pm and went to turnon the set and green light came on but no picture. I have cycled thruall of my connections and can hear sound from every single input,(Xbox360, PS3, Cablebox) but they all show no picture. I dont have anyblinking red lights and even tried the firmware update. Powered tv downand inserted the memorystick then powered up, sound cut off for amoment and saw green light on memory device flicker as if it werecommunicating with TV. Powered down after 10 min then powered back upand still only sound. If you have any idea what could possibly be theproblem please help me out. Control boards on LCDs and PLASMA tvs are causing no picture , missing area , and other wierd symptoms , it will need to be tested to determine the true problem

Check the inverter on the sides of the TV. This sounds like the inverter is going bad and that's the reason why you have sound but not picture.

Tv turns on has sound but picture

Rest the tv by unplugging it from the wall for a hour. If the picture is still gone replace the small signal board.

It is the low voltage power supply. I just had my set repaired and it had the same symptoms. My set is out of warranty. The repair cost is around $200.00.

Problems with your Philips 37PF7320A 37 in remote control

If the remote has been replaced the IR receiver could be bad. Try changing the channels with by the tv. Most likely that is the problem.Beside that the small signal board could be an issue. But I would the IR receiver would be first.
