Replaced battery and cd will not play and will not reject my CDs

Take out the fuses that go to your cd/player. Start the vehicle, the radio/cd will not come on. Shut the vehicle off and replace the fuses. Start the vehicle again and you should hear the cd player cycling through the cds. Be patient and let it go through the process. Hope this helped. Mike

CD does not work. CD is rejected after a few seconds

If your system rejects all CDs, it may be that the laser has gone bad. A schematic isn't likely to help much if you've no experience fixing CD players.

the technique with the battery terminals does work but i personally don't recommend it.
when i had a stereo issue i just unplugged it from the back of the stereo and plugged it back in
you have to reset the clock and so on but it may work, if not i would say you have a defective changer

Take out #7 and #31 fuses. Start the vehicle, the radio/cd will not come on. Shut the vehicle off and replace the fuses. Start the vehicle again and you shoud hear the cd player cycling through the cds. Be patient and let it go through the process. Then play/eject/load cds. It worked for me.
