I just got an hp laptop and wanted to connect my canon multipass f60 to it and use it to print. When I downloaded the canon driver that I thought would make it compatible with vista, the laptop told me that there were already older multipass f60 drivers installed on my computer and that I'd have to delete them in order to be able to install the new driver. I don't know why it's giving me this message. I've already searched my laptop and have no older multipass drivers already installed. Can anyone help me? Also, can anyone tell me what driver(s) I need to download and how I could then actually install them without having the laptop give me this message? Thanks!!!
Canon does not offer Vista drivers for the MultiPass F60. Vista may have some generic drivers that will work, so don't delete or over-ride them in the system.
The major problem is that the printer only supports USB 1.1 and not USB 2.0
