If the turntable of your Frigidaire microwave has stop working, often the possibilities include one of three culprits:
Power Supply
Turntable Turned Off
Turntable Support Damaged
I always recommend resetting your microwave first before reaching out to a professional. You can do so by unplugging your appliance or flipping the circuit breaker for about ten minutes and then turn on your microwave.
Well first of all you can try to clean the turntable- Remove your glass turntable cooking tray from your microwave. Gently wash with warm soapy water to remove any debris. Next remove the turntable guide and clean it in the same manner, with warm soapy water. Pay particular attention to the turntable rollers. There could be spilled food particles caught in the rollers, hindering the rollers' movement. Also, gently cleanse the internal cavity of your microwave, paying special attention to the area below the turntable. With the internal cavity, turntable, and turntable guide completely clean and dry, return the parts to your microwave. First place the turntable guide on the bottom of the microwave. There should be a circular groove in the bottom of the microwave cavity keeping the turntable guide in place. Follow the guide with the turntable cooking tray. Carefully place the glass tray over the turntable guide and onto the drive bushing. The drive bushing should fit neatly into the grooves on the bottom of your glass cooking tray. It may take some adjusting before the tray will sit properly onto the drive bushing. If further you have the same problem then this could be a failing turntable motor...... Please post comments for further help or information.......
Two possibilities: either the turntable coupling is broken or the turntable motor has quit. The plastic coupling can wear or crack so it no longer fits properly on the turntable motor shaft. Then even though the motor still turns, the turntable doesn't. Or the motor itself may have stopped working. If the plastic coupling still looks normal and you can't rotate it easily by hand while it's in place, it's probably the motor.
I'm here in the US so I can't suggest where to find parts, but you should be able to locate a supplier who might have replacements available. Of course the oven will still work without the turntable running. You'll have to open the oven occasionally and turn the food yourself to insure even cooking.
The fact that the microwave and convection both do not heat indicated that the oven is in demo mode, check the user manual, otherwise it will possibly be a relay not triggering, may need a pcb replacement, check Demo mode 1st....Phil
