You need to replace the temperature control, (unless you find a bad wire connection to the temp control first). You can find a control that is close enough at any appliance parts store, bring the old one in for a match up. Make sure it is NOT a 39 degree constant cut in type and you will want a differential of at least 6 or 8 degrees minimum so that it wont "short cycle" which means it would run for a few minutes, shut off for a few then run again before the high side pressure comes down.
