Check power outlet and ensure proper voltage is present, if you know how to handle power, and have a measurement meter. Try connecting the TV to some other power outlet, where another equipment is working fine. If problem persists, the defects could be due to dry/leaky capacitors, dry solders in the PCB etc. and might require attention by a qualified service technician.
The exact fuse for the power outlet.
That would be inside the car, the lower finish panel by your left foot, a 15 amp fuse marked on the cover "Power Outlet". -------- check out that fuse.also you can connect additional 12 volt power source to the 115 v power outlet to make it work. Its bit of modification that has to be done.Click this link for its procedure:---http://howtobyme.blogspot.com/2011/06/115v-power-outlet-in-center-console-not.html

This should help.thanks.Helpmech.
I had that same problem with my CX5800F. I tried it in several working outlets and shut down/started up many times. Tech support couldn't figure it out so they had me sent it back for a replacement. Several days later, before I packaged it up for shipment, I decided to test it out one more time, and it powered on! I sent for a replacement anyways. Since it's still under the 1-warranty, I'd suggest sending it back for a new one if all else fails. Good luck!
