Samsung HCP4752W will not turn on. I unplugged it for the 30 mins, but will not power up. The red light comes on as soon as I plug it in, then sounds like it starts to turn on , then nothing. please help?

It is most likely that your power supply PCB is faulty. Some have had luck with the following procedure to correct it, so you might try this:

Unplug the TV for 30 seconds, and then plug it into a working outlet.

1. If the standby light comes on (and doesn't flash or blink), your TV is receiving power and will probably turn on now just fine. ...
2. If the standby light comes on but flashes or blinks, or if the standby light still doesn't come on, service is required.

Unplug from the power socket and 10 mins later plug it back in and try again. Replace the power plug fuse and try again.

Defective caps in power supply try unpluging let sit for 30 min of no luck 1 hr stillno luck it needs service .

unplug the washer for 30 mins or so and then plug it back in to see if it wil reset it self. does the light come on inside at all.

Try to unplug the AC adapter from the power cord and wait 30 min.Then plug it again.If this not help may the AC adapter is defective.

Try take out battery for 30 min then insert it back but DON'T turn the phone ON and plug the charger in.

I have a toshiba tv and it will not turn on. There is a flashing green light that comes on, but there is no picture or sound.

If that is what is happening, with no other light coming on, then I would try and unplug the tv from the wall for 30 min. Plug it back in and try turning it on. If this doesn't fix it, you will need to take it to a repair shop.

If the LAMP light goes red then replace the lamp.

Please unplug the tv for 30 min and then plug it back to power supply and see if the lights are blinking again...

take off the back there is a board at the top right with two black stk-392-040 chips on it unplug the red connector at the left side of the board then plug set up and see if it comes on if so the chips on the board are bad or replace the board about $100.00
