Canon mx340 had U059 error. I use refilled carts. How to reset it?

For me, this meant that I put it an ink cartridge that wasn't compatible.

SOURCE: I have refilled my ink cart. and now an error E5 is showing.

MP150/160 resetting errors


1) With the printer powered off but connected to a power source, press the Power button while pressing and holding
the Stop/ Reset button.
2) When the Power LED is lit, press the Stop/Reset button two times while pressing and holding the Power button.
3) When releasing the Power button and the Stop / Reset button (regardless of order), the printer will move into a
service mode. (Waiting for menu selection)
4) When the LED lights in green, press the Stop/Reset button the specified number of time(s) according to the
function listed in the table below.(Each time the Stop/Reset button is pressed, the LED lights alternately in
orange and green, starting with orange.)

3 times Orange EEPROM reset

11 times Orange Button / LCD checking
12 or more times Returns to a menu selection

Dear Sir,

Ignore the low ink warning, the printer should still print after about 30 seconds or hit resume on the printer.

You will get this warning every time you print. There is no way to reset those cartridges. Thanks For YOur Time

check that the tape that coverd contacts has been fully removed and that there is no residue on either the cartridges or the receptacle the error points to the color cartridge, it has happened to me previously were a cartridge is bad out of the box and needs to be replaced.
