Do the indicators light up on the dash when switch is activated? If not possible fuse or electronic flasher assembly. Do you hear any click when first activated? If fuse good for signal lights, suspect faulty electronic flasher. This is normally located under the drivers dash area and can be a pain to locate. Sometimes they incoporate the 4 way flasher in the same unit. Turn on the 4 ways and follow the click sound. The flasher will control the signals and 4 ways or the flasher will be close to the 4 way flasher and look similar
An easy way to test if the flasher is bad is to remove the flasher unit under the dash and replace it with the emergency flasher, if it works just replace the turn signal flasher.
there is a flasher under the dash put your 4 ways on and listen for the tick noise find the flasher unit under dash area driver side there is two one for the 4 ways and 1 for turn signals now that you have found them turn on working signal touch the flasher unit you will feel it pulse and hear the noise when you have the one pulseing on working signal this will need replacing can also be in fuse area have a good day
The parking lights, dash lights, turn signals, and hazard flasher should be 4 different circuits. So you would need to know exactly what that fuse protects, then look for the short to ground.
check the signal flasher ( little silver or colored can in fuse panel or under dash. 4 ways have 1 flasher and the signals have a seperate flasher. Put hazards on to hear click, to determine which flasher is which. Hope this helps
