Canon MP600 all in one inkjet printer

This is a common Canon error (been going on for years)

You can try removing all inks. Switch off and unplug from the wall.

Reinstall inks and switch on
(you may need to switch on first to align the print head) Switching off at the wall while the printheads are in view will leave them accessible.

The print head is what's connected to the drive belt. It requires a lot of printer disassembly to get to. Check you tube for a video in how to change it.

remove all ink tanks then take out the printhead. If you don't know how to remove the p/h...there is a lever on side of the carriage. Lift it up and the p/h will come out. Wipe the electrical contacts (on back of p/h with damp tissue then polish with dry. Fit p/h and cartridges in, turn printer off/on. If error persists, try turning printer off/on couple of times.
If that doesn't fix the problem, the p/h is faulty and needs replacing.

take off all the cartridges, turn off the printer...
turn on the printer and put inside 1 by 1 the cartridge, if the problem don't chances buy another printhead..

This means The type of print head is incorrect. Install the correct print head." U052

The solution is follow the directions given in the Easy Setup Instructions to install the Print Head.

If the Print Head is already installed, remove the Print Head once and then reinstall it.

If the error is not resolved, the Print Head may be damaged and may need replacing.

Either it doesn't like the cartridges you are putting in, or another one is empty, whichever one has the led blinking or off is the one you need to replace

UO52 error is either a print head temp sensor error or faulty EEPROM data from the print head. You need to re-set the print head. If that fails then a new print head is required.

Got the error U052.....with incorrect print head. Has been printing just before. How do I remove the printhead and place it back in. My printer is Canon MP610
