IPod Freezes Sometimes, my iPod Nano freezes and I have to wait for the battery to die in order to get it to come back. Why does this happen? What can I do?
Have you tried to reset it, by holding down both the menu and center button until the apple sign appears? My Nano freezes and then it does I just reset it.

when it freezes like that you either have to much memory on it but when they came out with those nanos they froze alot and there isnt really anything to do besides try to let the battery die and turn it on again
sounds like a software issue with you ipod check for updates if none is avalible unfortunatly you will need to restore your nano to factory condition make sure to back up all your files first
you may need to have a new battery installed. Take it to an ipod repair guy and they will install a battery for about 25.00 or so. It's not an easy fix, the battery is the solder in type and is a very tiny magnifying glass kind of job.
Hi BabyBettie, If you are from the UK I can repair this for a very small charge. It just needs a little clean of the wheels and buttons on the ribbons.
Press and hold the center button while holding down the menu button. This will reboot your Ipod. Check your IPod cable to see if its shorted. If might have transferred a song and crash in the middle of the transfer.
I was playing a game and it froze while loading
