i have 58S, which should look very much alike.

if you can see a screw in a small recess near the tail (not the 2 screws over the switch), remove it.

it you do not find this screw, probably because you lost it, so the 3-pin socket came out. Also, there is a C shape insert, wriggle and raise it, it should pop out.

I scored an old beta 58 but the 3 pin connector was missing. i bought another one but i don't know which wires to connect where. plus there are only two wires, is that right? I'm a bit of a noob but I like to try things myself :)

The most common failure is te connection with the battery. In that case you can bench those clips in the right position.

Once you remove the grill, there is a C-Clip that holds the cartridge down into the handle. Use some c-clip pliers to pull the c-clip out of the handle. The c-clip will remain around the post on the cartridge, but that's ok.
