Hi sir
if the out put picture coming from your dvd player is black and white, you need to check the system settings in your dvd player as will as in your tv unit. like for example if your dvd is set to ntsc system, the tv unit need to set also in ntsc system. thanks for using the fixya.

SOURCE: DVD won't play

Check whether it is a problem for that single dvd. If yes, it is the problem of that disc, not that of your player. If not, switch off the player and let it cool for a couple of hours. Then try again with another disc. You may find that working.

My TDP-S35 suddenly went to showing only in black and white. Any ideas? It was working perfectly and in the middle of a class it lost all color.

if this is a DLP projector, take the cover off and check the colorwheel. It sound to me like you have lost the segments off the colorwheel.
