First make a diagram of the wiring as it is with the 3-wire pickups, in case you need to re-fit them in the future. Remove the old pickups and store them in a box with the wiring diagram.

Have a look here: http://www.seymourduncan.com/support/wiring-diagrams/ and choose the wiring diagram which is closest to your guitar. It doesn't really matter that you are replacing 3-wire with 4-wire. It will give you the opportunity to install series/ parallel switching for more sounds though.

These are for the seymour duncan JB pickup which uses an extra switch for a coil tap. If you tie the leads of the switch you can avoid using it in which it would become a normal humbucker.3_8_2013_7_29_41_pm.jpg

There several switch options shown here, the first one shows red and white would short to ground when switched could work with red and white tied together and be a regular humbucker.

Guitar pickup wiring diagrams

That guitar features two single coil pickups when stock. If, however, you or someone else installed a 4 conductor humbucker in the neck and you want to access other tonal options, check out the Seymour Duncan web site- they have tons of easy to understand diagrams- you just need the soldering skills to make use of them!
Make your selections on this page and good luck!
