Hi, This is the problem of cartridge mostly. You may need to replace the cartridges. Check the cartridges and make sure that the cartridges are not blank or not get the ink dry. Clean the printing head 2-3 times. Align the cartridges and clean the nozzles also. Reset your printer and remove all pending print job. If it doesn't solve your problem then replace the cartridges.

Low ink light flashing even with new cartrige in it

The same thing happened on my MP270 printer and I had to reset the cartridge status by pressing and holding "STOP" button (circle with triangle inside) for 5 seconds, until the flashing indicator light stopped blinking.

Hello
I believe the ink cartridge should have ink but not sufficient for printing, if the cartridge is expensive why dont you re-fill it, re-filling is very low cost option.
Also clean the contacts of cartridge from both ends.
Hope this helps, if so do rate the solution Good Luck

My hp 3740 Printer's power button is blinking and doesn"t print since yesterday.

Blinking power light can mean a jam, out of paper, open cover, or bad usb cable.
Open the covers and look for torn paper and nothng blocking the paper sensor. Check and make sure your USB cable from PC to printer is connected.

My HP deskjet won't scan to my computer, the power button just blinks when I hit 'scan' The make and model is HP Deskjet F4180

The HP Photosmart Software must also be installed and running on the computer before scanning.

Check that the USB cable is firmly plugged in to the printer and computer. Unplug the power cord both from the wall socket, and the printer. Wait 60 seconds. Re-attach the power cord securely. Power on. Try the scan again.

Under normal circumstances, a blinking power button just means that the machine is busy with a task. Be sure to let it finish its current task before initiating another.

My 3820 will not move the ink cartriges to center for changing

If you power off the printer and raise the cover you should be able to GENTLY move the print head towards the centre but if it's not moving there is probably something else wrong if it's not responding to the button push or software request.
