The memory wire will be the constant power wire. If it was not a constant power then you would loose the clock and channel settings.

How do I get the clock to stay on, on the Alpine cde-102? The moment you switch off the system the clock goes off, even if the car is running.
The DC error is most likely caused by a shorted or grounded speaker wire. Check all speaker wires, correct the problem, and then go into the sound setup settings and reset the POWER IC to ON.
