Hi, Try removing the brew unit and cleaning it. Its been sitting, so i would think that your brew unit has a blockage. Dazza

On Vienna Deluxe after the beans are ground and ready to drop the espresso shots, nothing comes out and the red light goes on? I shut the unit off for a minute or so, turn it back on and it works ok, but...

Solid red light is a ventilate light.. Try Priming the machine to see if the light goes away.

Something may be in the flow meter. Its the while device between the water tank and the pump of the machine. You would have to open the machine and clean out the flow meter.

Also, if you haven't descaled the machine already, I would start there.

Saeco vienna plus red solid light cannot prime water line

Make certain the line from the water resource is cleaned and not obstructed. If the pump fails to move the water from the reservoir to the heating tank, then the pump needs to be replaced.

Am unable to prime water pump

Water is not being drawn from reservoir into boiler. The valve at the base of the boiler seems to function properly. After repeated attempts, I am unable to prime pump and fill boiler with water.

I just changed the boiler in my Saeco Vienna coffee machine, but I have a dought, should I fill it up with water before turn it on? If so, how do I do it?

HI
When you first turn the machine on, push the water button and open the knob on the right. It should take about 30 seconds to a minute to get water. If it is taking longer turn it off and let it set for 30 minutes, then try again. If the pump sounds louder than normal, turn it off and get you priming tool.

No water output even after manual prime

Water line is clogged you will have to open machine and find where the line is clogged.

Saeco Vienna: water does not go through to the main unit

I had the same problem and got on the Saeco US website and talked to an online support person. She downloaded me a couple of pages of "fixes", I tried them and they worked! You have to take the two screws out of the brew group, remove the spring and a little clear plastic ball. Then clean out the hole thoroughly. I stuck a toothpick up into it from underneath to clean out the coffee that was stuck in the hole. I then put it back together and now it works perfectly.
