In projector menu you will find a setting called 'keystone correction'. Use horizontal and vertical keystone correction to correct the projected image.

Which is better for use, angled or straight spotting scope?

Spotting scopes are used for several purposes which includes hunting, birding, nature viewing and landscape observation and targeting any distant objects. If this device is used for capturing photos, then the combination of a spotting scope attached with a camera would be helpful for the users. A spotting scope can also be used fort target shooting on which scoring targets on a rifle or archery range. If anyone wishes to buy a spotting scope then one must.
Angled or Straight Scope
Going for a spotting scope based on the users need, the thing that will come first is choosing one between the two - angled spotting scope or straight one.
Here is the Advantage and disadvantage of spotting scope:
Straight Spotting Scopes
Advantages
  • Easier to quickly find and track moving targets like birds
  • Easier to use if you do most of your birding or game viewing from hides or using a car window clamp
  • Easier to view objects below your own level eg at the bottom of a cliff
Disadvantages
  • Can get uncomfortable during prolonged observation periods
  • Digiscoping: depending on the weight of your camera and adapter, gravity can make the set-up less stable and there could be more chance of harming the eyepiece
  • If you're above average height, it can be more expensive to buy a tripod that needs to be stable at 170cm high and above. The larger tripod is also harder to carry about.
  • Harder to view birds in the sky
  • Harder to use if you also plan to use your scope for astronomy
Angled Spotting Scopes
Advantages
  • Generally more comfortable for prolonged observation periods
  • Easier to view birds in the sky
  • You don't need to raise the tripod so high and often depending on which tripod you have, you don't even need to raise the center column which makes a big difference regarding stability
  • Many prefer an angled for digiscoping, as you can set it at a lower height on your tripod, making it easier to keep it stable, especially in windy conditions
  • Gravity helps keep the camera in place for digiscoping making it more stable and so there is less chance of harming the eyepiece
  • Easier to use if you also plan to use your scope for astronomy
Disadvantages
  • Beginners will find the angled scope difficult to trace and detect the moving targets but they will overcome the difficulties over time by being able to handle it. It is more difficult to use when an user utilize this device mostly for birding or viewing game
  • Harder to use if you do most of your birding or game viewing from hides or using a car window clamp
  • Harder to view birds or anything else that is below your own level eg at the bottom of a cliff

How do I adjust view from an angle?

Best to have the projector 90 degrees up and down and left to right to the screen. Try turning the projector to move the image left or right.

Your DLP chip is damage or getting to been damage.
** To make it sure you can do it your self by getting some basic tools such as proper screw drive, and open your projector for parts.
And you can physically observe the Chip.
Please check by side angle on the chip surface. **

Bottom of screen is projecting at an angle. Other 3 sides are at 90 degree angles

It is called as keystone distortion. To correct the problem press the "Keystone" button on the projector, then press left, right, down & up arrow buttons to adjust the angle at 90 degrees.

The image from my cp x251 is uneven the top and right side are angled but the bottom and left side are straight and perfect on the screen.

this is a common problem with projection systems this is the reason that most screens are lined with black felt its non-reflective and works great to hide uneven edges also try balancing out the difference with the keystone adjustment

I was just given this t.v because friends couldn't figure out what is wrong with itl. The colors don't line up right, looks kinda blurry depending on the lighting of the program being watched. How do i fix...

According to the manual:
1) go to the "TV Main Menu"
2) Select "Screen"
3) Select Adjust Projection TV (obviously only if a projection TV).
This then allows you to adjust the TV's 3-colors. Selecting GREEN CENTERING brings up a control panel that lets you center the green projection tube on the screen. Selecting RED CONVERGENCE or BLUE CONVERGENCE lets you align the Red & Blue projector tubes. Centre the green projector tube 1st. Then adjust the red & blue until the test pattern on the TV screen appers white.
Good Luck!

Faded Black Strip on Side of Projection

I had a similar problem with my InFocus LP600 although my black stripe was straight up and down. I am guessing this is caused when the unit is bumped or dropped. This is not an easy fix unless you have a lot of experience with small tools and parts and you may need an extra set of hands. I found some tiny alignment screws under the lamp cover and hidden beneath a peel-off 0.5" x 2" black plastic strip. The screws are located between the bulb assembly and the main projection lens and are oriented 90 degrees apart around the light projection path. The trick is in getting the projector to temporarily function with the lamp cover off -- it has an interlock tab on one edge that pushes on a microswitch when closed. We turned the projector upside down but raised on some slats for heat dissipation, gently held the interlock switch in with a small screw driver, and plugged in the power cord. After pushing the power switch to get the image, I adjusted the tiny screw that is angled towards the front of the projector and the stripe dissapeared! Since your stripe is angled, you may need to adjust both alignment screws. The screw heads are very tiny torx bit types but I was able to use a 3/64" (.05") allen (hex) wrench that came in a set of cheap jewelers type tools that are widely available. Be very careful while operating the unit with the lamp cover off as there are very hot surfaces and exposed wiring.
