Trying to remove the decor door from my Tecnik 795/3. Removed the top two screws along the top of the door, and also the two long side screws half way down the door. It won't budge though so wondered if I've missed any? Also, which way does it come off - up or down? Cheers

I am not sure about which way the door comes off but I know of a company called Appliance Art that makes covers for existing appliances.
www.applianceart.com
These guys have all kinds of colors, textures, designs and stainless options for refacing your dishwasher--- then maybe you can save the hassle of removing the door at all.

Trying to reverse door swing on Samsung washer WF405ATPASU/AA

Tony, this is a simple procedure and you just need a medium sized phillips head screwdriver. Start by opening the door and removing the two phillips screws that attach the hinge to the machine. Remove the door by lifting up and out. Next, remove the two screws that that you will now see (previously hidden under the door hinge that you just removed). Now, go to the opposite side and remove the two screws that hold the door latch and pull out the plastic latch insert. Also, remove the two screws located (about 4 inches) above and below the latch insert. Now simply reverse the process by securing the plastic latch on the left side along with the two screws (top and bottom). Before securing the door on the right side, lay it down and remove the screw that is used to hang the door (within a slotted hole on the machine) and move it to the top of the hinge (you will see a hole for it). Now simply hang the door on the right side of the machine, and firmly secure it with the remaining two screws. Your door should move freely and latch securely.

Procedure to Replace the Gasket on a Refrigerator Door?

The procedure is as follows:--
1)You can start from the top outside corner of the door. 2) Then carefully fold/pry the old gasket back by partly loosening the screws along half of the top and side of refrigerator.
3) Take care you don't loosen the screws all the way or remove then completely out.
4) Then you can slowly pull the old gasket out.
5) The old gasket is out now.you can now take the new gasket and fit the new gasket by pushing it beneath the metal retainer and re-tightening the screws .
6) Reverse the procedure by re-fitting all the parts which were removed while removing the old gasket .

This will help.Good Luck.

Tecnik Integrated 795/2

Unfortunately you may have lost the controller or if you are lucky just a loose wire. You can get to all of this by taking the door cover off. If it is not a loose wire the control would be my next best guess. Sometimes they just go.

Door springs on Fisher & Paykel 920 dishwasher not working at all .How can they be replaced?

Hi - heres the instructions for you - have fun.....

Removal of Cabinet

(Do not use decorative panel to move the machine)

1. Isolate power supply.

2. Remove service and decorative panels (refer Section 6.1).

3. Ease machine forward for all round access. Be careful not to damage floor coverings.

4. Remove two screws from bottom sides of cabinet rear.

5. Remove the top screws on left and right hand sides of the cabinet rear.

6. Remove two screws securing the rear bottom panel.

7. Remove five screws securing the stainless steel frame to cabinet wrapper at front of machine. These are located behind the sound gasket and service panel.

8. Withdraw the cabinet assembly away from the machine.

Refitting: Refit in reverse manner. Fitting the top centre screw in the cabinet wrapper first, makes fitting the cabinet easier.

6.9 Removal of Door Tension Springs

(Do not use decorative panel to move the machine)

Location: The door tension springs are located either side of the machine and are

fitted to the chassis base and door quadrants by means of the end hooks of

these springs.

After isolating the machine from the power supply:

1. Ease machine forward for all round access.

2. Remove service panel (Refer Section 6.1).

3. Remove two screws in the cabinet wrapper exposed by the Service Panel.

4. Remove the springs from the quadrants and the chassis base using pliers.

Refitting: Refit in reverse manner.

6.10 Removal of Hinge Assemblies

(Do not use decorative panel to move machine)

Location: The hinge assemblies are located either side of the door and retained by means of two rivets on each side to the inner door panel.

After isolating the machine from the power supply:

1. Remove service & decorative panels (refer Section 6.1).

2. Remove outer door panel (refer Section 6.2).

3. Remove cabinet (refer Section 6.7).

4. Remove door tension springs (refer Section 6.8).

5. Remove quadrant grommets.

6. Open door fully and drill out the two rivets from the hinge assembly on inner door panel.

7. Hinge assembly can now be removed from inner door and cabinet.

Note: Hinges should be replaced one at a time. Repeat procedure six and seven for other hinge. Hinge guide quadrants can now be removed by depressing sides and pulling free of slot if need be.

Refitting: Refit in reverse manner using 3/16 monal rivets to secure the hinges to the inner door.

How do you remove the front facia door of a Teknik integral dishwasher

I have just replaced the facia on mine. It is a TKD795/4 so I would imagine yours would be very similar. Around the inside of the door are 10 starhead screws; 4 along the top and 3 down each side. On mine it is the 2 end screws along the top and the 2 middle screws down the sides that hold the facia on. It is best to remove one screw at a time to establish which ones hold the facia on and which hold the door together. The short screws hold the door together and should be replaced and left in place. It is the longer screws that hold the facia on; these only need to be undone enough to release the facia panel. Once you have undone the relevant screws, the facia will lift up enabling you to release the 2 clips at the bottom. Replacement is reverse of removal. Hope this helps.

Hello,
I do not know the make or model of your Dishwasher but on most makes the screws on the inside edge of door are utilised.Normally the bottom edge and top edge, sometimes you can tell by the type of screw head or rust. Some model may have a small plastic plug in the side edge of door and if removed you will gain access to the screws.

Hope this helps.

How to replace a refrigerator door gasket

Good day,
Installed improperly will cause a warped door, and almost unrepairable.
First, lay the new gasket on the floor, and allow to warm up completely. Should be soft and pliable.

Unplug machine, and remove everything from the door.
Peel back inside of gasket. You will see screws.
Loosen all top and side screws ONLY HALF WAY DOWN EACH SIDE.
Peel off the old gasket from the top, and half way down each side only.

Take new gasket, and install across the top and half way down.
Tighten all the screws you loosened or removed FIRMLY.

Repeat this process on the lower half of the machine.
This process keeps the door aligned properly.

Trying to remove the top of the dryer to access the drum belt. Tried using putty knife and screw driver at location (I think) of the clips. Is it just those two clips along the side?

Those slope heads are tricky. The u shaped front pops off then the door itself has to be removed. The hidden hold downs can next be removed then you can get the top up to remove the front. Then the glide and filter housing needs to be removed to get the drum out.

Removing decor door

With the door open all of the way you should see a series or torx 20 (small star shaped round head) screws around the perimeter of the inner stainless steel door panel. The outer door is usually held on by the topmost 2 screws on the outer corners and 1 on either side of the door in the second position up from the bottom of the door. There may also be a catch under the panel which will require the door to be slid upwards a little.

Be careful when the panel releases as there is about 15 to 20 pounds of spring pressure and the door may want to snap shut.

There may also be a small plastic cap on either side of the door panel about 8 inches from the top. Under these caps is a screw which clamps the door panel down. It will have to be loosened or removed if there.

There is no danger in removing all of the torx screws from the inner panel if the door still will not release.

This is for the standard installation but bear in mind that not everyone follows the instructions when installing the panels...
