Hello KOKOBEAR,

Is your computer more than a couple years old? If so, then the internal components, like the fans and heatsink may be dusty. When those parts get really thick dusty, the fans are not as efficient, and have to run harder to keep the computer cool.

If you're comfortable opening your case, you can take a look and see if there's a lot of dust. You may want to have an experienced friend or technician do the cleanup, as you may need to take off a part or two to do the really deep cleaning.

How is the oil level in the engine? Have you actually checked that? Also, what kind of oil (and what weight) are you running in the engine, and how many miles are on the car? You may be running oil that is too thin for the amount of wear on the engine parts! oil leaks cause low oil levels!

Rainbow motor makes loud noise

Depending on the age of the Rainbow, it could be the bearings. Does the noise happen with just the Rainbow or from the power nozzle?

Minute timer is not loud enough. It was but now volume low.

Set the timer to 1 minute and then press the minus button to zero it.
This makes the timer 'beep'.
If it is quiet, press the minus button again and the volume of the beep will alter, running through 3 settings - loud, medium and quiet.

I just got my Vaio PCG-K33 operational once again by installing a replacement LCD screen. Now I realize why I was not in a rush to return this laptop to running condition. The cooling fan runs constantly...

This over heating issue is a common issue for this model of VAIO Computer. You will get a free service or replacement of parts(Battery) from the Sony Service Center. For more information please follow the link below.

Desktop computer fan runs constantly

Hi,

Desktop fans do run constantly, you cannot avoid this.

The reason they get loud is because there will be a build up of dust on the fan blades.

To rectify this problem turn off the computer and remove the power cord from the rear. Then you need to remove the side panel from the base unit to expose the motherboard.

You will see that inside the case it is full of dust. Look at the CPU fan (the fan on the motherboard) also take notice of any case fans too, they are at the back.

To clean the fans and the case you can use a clean dry paintbrush or compressed air.

Once the inside of the case is cleaned you will see a noticeable drop in noise.

Regards.

when the compressor is running unplug the ref. and if you hear the noise coming from the compressor then
a ballance spring may be broken inside the compressor.

The compressor will run normally with a broken spring it will just be annoying when it shuts down.

One day i ran out of gas i filled the tank it ran fine a couple days later i changed the oil again it ran fine, im getting ogg the freeway one night come to a light and it stalls i start it back up but it...

Best guess I can make with the limited info is check the fuel cap vent. If it runs fine with the cap off or open you found the problem.
Engines that are running very lean (not getting enough fuel) can sound terrible, Frank
