you should find your driver here
and here is a shortcut directly to the right driver.

then run it and install it, plz let me know if you want more help.

Had a hard drive failure and have lost the instalation disc. Now have new laptop, but cannot load the printer!

You can download the printer driver from the Canon WEB site support download page. You need to select your printer model and the XP or Vista driver version.
