Switch off the Nokia 1200 phone. Remove the battery for 30 minutes.Reinsert the battery and switch on the Nokia 1200 phone.Enter the default code 12345 or 00000.Your Nokia 1200 phone will be unlocked.

Hello James, Security codes are default codes set by the manufacturer of your phone,in your case Nokia. It is usually 12345 and it only comes asks for security codes when some one activates it. You should try the 12345 and if it does not work then some one might have changed it,then you would have to unlock the phone. please let mi know how it goes. Thanks
Your phone may have a providers lock to the certain provider if this way you can't remove lock manualy :( (find guys with more knolwledge in unlocking - if you understand what I mean)

call your service company (i.e. sprint tmobile, altell.) they can provide you with a code or they might be able to get you a whole new phone... tmobile has done both for me….
