Try this to disable Demo mode!

1 Press and hold (SEL). The setup display appears.
2 Press (SEL) repeatedly until "Demo" is shown.
3 Press the volume +/- button to select
the setting (example "ON" or "OFF").
4 Press and hold (SEL).The setup is complete and the display returns to normal.

Without knowing the model of radio or the specific repeater you are trying to access, the only things I can suggest are 1) check to make sure your radio is setup for duplex operation, 2) check to make sure the offset is correct for the repeater, 3) make sure you are in tone mode (not tone squelch mode) and that the tone is correct for the repeater, 4) if the repeater is still not coming up, listen for a while to see if others can access it. If you don't hear other traffic on the repeater there is a possibility that it is down.

Other information that would help get you an answer would be the make / model of the radio (you said Vertex but that could also mean Yaesu), and information on the repeater you are accessing (frequency, location, repeater callsign).

Yes, the DWL-G700AP can be setup as an AP or a repeater as long as your current wifi router is also 802.11g/b.

Setup the Repeat Mode: select No Repeat.

The setting for 10 seconds per song in the Alba MPK4065BUK is under the Repeat Mode, when Music is selected.
The 10 seconds mode is called Intro.

Power on the device

1. Press and hold the appropriate Mode key (TV, DVD or AUX) on the remote control.
2. Without releasing the chosen Mode key, press and hold the OK key simultaneously.

   All the Mode keys should flash twice.

You may have to decrease the transmission speed and turn off the ECM using the steps given below:

1. From the control panel, press Fax Mode.
2. Press "Menu."
3. Press "Up" or "Down" repeatedly until "Send Setup" appears.
4. Press "Select."
5. Press "Up" or "Down" repeatedly until "Max Speed" appears.
6. Press "Select."
7. Press "Up" or "Down" to select a "9600 bps."
8. Press "Select" to save the setting.
9. Press "Up" or "Down" repeatedly until "Send Setup" appears.
10. Press "Select."
11. Press "Up" or "Down" repeatedly until "Error correction" appears.
12. Press "Select."

Setting the clock
1. Press SETUP in no disc mode or full stop mode,MENU screen

This can be used for initial configuration; using a different SSID will enable testing of network connectivity, and will show that the WRT54G is associated with the WAP54G. * If MAC Filtering is configured on the WRT54G, no extra configuration is needed.
