Depending on what app you using to the read the book, if you look for a settings button which allows you to change things, you will usually find a nighttime mode toggle button.

On my 1999 Olds Intrigue I have never had to turn on my lights at night. All night time driving lights come on automatically until recently. Now only the headlights come on.To get the dash lights,tail...

Without testing i would say you have DRL control module problem , But that would just be a guess .
In the night mode, the DRL ambient light sensor senses darkness. Then, the DRL module turns off the front turn lamps and turns on the headlamps through circuit 10. The DRL module also turns on the park, side marker, license, and tail lamps. If the engine should stall with the DRL control module in the night mode, the DRL control module will turn off the headlamps and leave the side marker, park, license and tail lamps on while the engine is being cranked. The headlamp switch operates as usual.
The Daytime Running Lamps (DRL) control module is designed to automatically operate exterior lights depending on outside light conditions. The DRL control module operates in two modes, the day mode and the night mode. In the day mode, the DRL ambient light sensor senses daylight. Then, the DRL control module turns on the front turn lamps (non-flashing) if under the following conditions:
• The ignition switch is on.
• The headlamps switch is in the OFF position.
• The park brake is released.

The brightness of the Vacuum Fluorescent (VF) displays is controlled by two signals: the park lamps on signal (circuit 230) and the VF dimming signal (circuit 308). With the park lamps on, the VF display of the radio, heater, A/C control (with RPO CJ2) and the instrument cluster will dim for nighttime viewing. When the park lamps on signal is not present (park lamps off), the VF displays are at high brightness for daytime viewing. When the park lamps are on, the I/P lamp dimmer switch provides a signal (VF Dimming Signal circuit 308) which controls the brightness of the VF displays when the I/P lamp dimmer switch is adjusted.

Do the Daytime running light's work ?

Daytime running lights , bypass switch

The switch is automatic when you turn the car on. DRL stay lit as long as it is not dusk, once dusk the DRL automatically turn off and headlights turn on. Camaros are made in Canada, and DRL are universal throughout North America. What is happening is that the shed where the inspection is taking place is dark enough to simulate dusk , and the photocell is turning off the DRL and turning on the headlights. Someone at the inspection station is misinformed. DRL D=Daytime not Nighttime, which the darkness in the shed is simulating.

I bought the ge digital heavy duty timer Model#15079 I want to use it for my saltwater tank where a light stays on from 7 am to 9 pm an another light stays on from 2 pm until 8pm is this possible with this...

Easiest solution is to buy two separate timers.

GE does not have 2 channel plug-in timer. Nor does Woods, UPM, Swilight, Sylvania, Tork, etc etc.
http://waterheatertimer.org/GE-timers-and-manuals.html

Zilla has a two channel power strip where one channel is for 12 daytime hours and 1 channel for 12 nighttime hours. The yellow outlets power daytime hours and blue for nighttime. You can adjust current time so the hours can be whatever, but the 2 channels are strictly 12 hours each and do not overlap
http://waterheatertimer.org/GE-timers-and-manuals.html#zilla
Your time schedule doesn't fit zilla

You need a 2-channel timer which takes you into more expensive territory ($150-$300), or just buy two separate timers since each load has to operate independently.

Intermatic make 2 and 4 channel timer:

My digital camera has some problems in daytime the pictures taken were blurred but at nighttime the pictures were pretty ...

You have to ensure that the camera is not set to night mode as this can affect the quality of the pictures you take during day time.
De-activating the night mode will allow it take normal pictures during daytime.

Nuvi 205w screen won't light- any ideas? it's brand new and fully charged. I can tell it's on, because it generates sounds when I touch the screen.

If you can't see anything then it is a hardware issue. Return for replacement as soon as possible.

If you can see faint images in the background then your screen is just too dim. You will have to try to navigate the dim screen to the settings menu. Click on the Tools icon, bottom right of main screen. Click on "settings" then "display". Select brightness and adjust.

One other suggestion is try an update. Plug the unit into your PC and run garmin webupdater. Once done the screen may light up but its a long shot. Here is the webupdater link.

Multiple flash firing

I would double check all your settings - even though you say it is on any flash setting, it sounds like it is using the nighttime flash setting (which does 2-3 rapid fire flashes).

Just go through every setting in the camera, and make sure that everything is set how you really want it, INCLUDING the daytime/nighttime, etc.

On the CAPTURE menu, check your adaptive light setting and make sure that you don't have it tweaked in some way to make the camera think EVERY picture is a nighttime picture.
I'd also check your "EV COMPENSATION" and "WHITE BALANCE", making sure those are set to "auto".

Hope that will work for you - good luck!
