Hello,

Your are getting the clean lint screen message because the computer on the control board is sensing poor airflow so it thinks the lint filter needs to be cleaned. What else you would need to check is for lint build up in the blower housing below the lint screen or the venting from the back of the dryer for blockage from the back of the dryer all the way to where it exits to the outdoors for a possible birds nest or some other thing restricting airflow.

I I removed the lint filter, unscrewed the 3 screws to take the plastic portion off, and cleaned the blower housing below the lint trap. Drum is still not turning. I have to clean the back of the dryer too. A few days ago I received a PF message, I reset the breaker and the dryer worked. My sweater was burning hot. Now the lint trap indicator is back on. What do I do?

I replaced thermal fuse and still get check lint screen message and dryer won't start

Did you cycle the power (unplug it) after?
There is probably a sensor under the lint screen. It may need to be cleaned. You may need to stick a vacuum thru the exaust vent in the back.

Error code CL on Kenmore Dryer

The "Check lint screen" light is just a reminder to check the and clean the lint screen before or after each load. There is not a sensor that will detect if it's clean or dirty, it's just a reminder. The "Check lint screen" should turn off as soon as the dryer is started. If it never turns off then the control board would need to be replaced in order for the check lint screen reminder to turn off, however the check ling screen reminder light staying on will not effect the operation of the dryer.
Here is the control board to order.

The part comes with a 365 day, any part, any reason return.

LG Tromm DLE8377NM check filter but filter is clean

You say lint hose is disconnected. Are you referring to the exhaust vent to the outside? I would suspect this vent is clogged or a vent flapper outside may be stuck shut.

I have a lg tromm dle2514 dryer and the check filter light is on. I am willing to clean it (I've already cleaned the front filter area) I just have no idea where there is another filter

Hi,
There is no other filter to clean other then the one lint filter.
I would check the dryer vent to make sure it's not restricted with lint build up or has any kinks in it. Also check the outside flapper at the end of the dryer vent to make sure it's clear of lint and able to open all the way.
If your dryer vent is ok and the lint screen is clean then I would remove the front of the dryer and check the blower/fan housing for lint build up.

Won't dry clothes completely. They are still damp after a 60 min cycle

check you vent hose- if plugged/crimped air can't get out with moisture- also go to HOME DEPOT or LOWES- get dryer lint brush- goes in hole where lint screen is - clean out good

Dryer shuts down sometimes , sometimes gets too hot then shuts down until it cools

First thing you will want to check is the lint screen, if the lint screen is clean, check the venting system. Unhook the 4" hose behind the dryer and look into it to make sure it isn't plugged up with lint. Also, check the rest of the vent all the way to the outside of the house . If the vent is stopped up it will overheat the dryer and cause other problems down the line.

Bosch Nexxt 800 series dryer E01 error

My wife has a Bosch Premium dryer that had drying problems. The lint filter would get cleaned but the machine still did not operate correctly, as you explained above. Her machine was made in 2005 and the lint screen, the plastic slotted unit in front of the lint filter was the problem. It gets clogged up with hair/lint that never makes it to the filter. I tried a shop vac to vacuum it but the problem was still there. Get a pistol cleaning kit for a 22 cal gun. Pull the lint filter out & then take the pistol rod and insert it from the drum side into each slot and pull out the tons of lint. Pull the lint off the rod when done and take a flame to burn the rest off as the rod is a brass brush with small wires on it.

I have a large capacity front load LG electric dryer. I keep getting the "check filter" message & the filters are clean. The dryer will not stay on. HELP!

The message does not only refer to filters, badly written.
There is an air flow restriction that the machine senses and is warning about.
check the fan and fan housing for lint that has got past the screens, then pull the dryer away from the wall and check the exhaust duct for lint, all the way to the wall
then check the outside wall vent for lint build up in the rodent screen
