Mine was and is still doing the same thing. I have to wet the ends of the batteries and the contacts on the battery slot cover in order for it to work. Then it only takes a few photos and I have to do it all over again. I was told it would be 70.00 to fix it, by an authorized Kodak repair shop. So, I'm just gonna keep wetting those batteries !

My sony w370's flash doesnt work...i mean the flash does work bt only smtyms.....wen it is kept for a few weeks without being used...........then it work and after clicking 15-20 images it again doesnt...

Be aware your camera is not a professional DSLR with external flash lights.
Most camera's will get warm or even hot when you take several pictures with the flash on in a short time. Most manuals do have a warning about using the flash. Sometimes the camera is only allowed to take a picture with the flash on, once a minute or even once in a couple of minutes. When the camera becomes hot, it will prevent itself against overheating, by not charging the flash again.

Still it can be possible something els is wrong with your camera, but try to shoot with the flash, with greater intervals and look if you can use the flash any longer. Also when the battery is drained, the flash won't charge. When shooting continuously, you will drain your battery much quicker.

I have had the same problem now it wont even turn on and it drained my rechargeable batteries the were fully charged....

You have a broken camera. The most common problem I have seen with digital cameras is power handling problems. Sometimes its the flash circuit sometimes it just somewhere in the general circuitry of the camera. You can not do anything to fix it. If you are lucky and its under warranty send it in. If not, try getting a quote from Samsung's customer service, if its a common problem for that camera they may cover it. Does not hurt to try, sometimes they will offer in trade a refurbished camera at a reduced price. Give it a shot.

Good luck

I get a warning which says *Battery Exhausted*. I've replaced them but still get the warning.. Any idea whats wrong?

earlier i posted solution in similary problem. maybe help you this.

solution is good batteries, Ni-Mh or Lithium, rechargeable only not alkaline. but...problem is how long you watch pictures on lcd display or how much is flash in use. if always by shooting pics used flash that means that you can with best batteries 30, 20 or less pics shooted. and of course, if you connect camera with pc, how long is cam on? just transfer pics on pc and turn the camera off. the best solution is use the card reader for pics transfering.
if is flash off, it's possible to shot 120-150 pics with Ni-Mh. with lithium i don't know, maybe 500 pics. don't use camera lcd for analysing pics it's just there for short preview.
with alkaline batt., very low quality, i shot 30 pics without flash.

i shot also very good pics at night without flash. nikon coolpix L15 can do that but you must have more praxis. alkaline batteries shooting!
after 3 pictures on display is message: warning! the battery is exhausted. what you can do? turn the camera off. wait about 10 minutes. turn the camera on, you can shot 3 or 5 pictures and than turn your camera off again.
you can repeat this few times and you be lucky if you 30 pics captured:)
REMEMBER: all this goes without camera flash!!!
flash and every zooming use more battery power! and that was all magic:).

Phone won't turn on at all

take the battery out then try again. If the battery isn't totally dead try turning the phone on and then plugging it in. It's happened to me before and sometimes it takes a few tries to get it to work but it should come on eventually.

Rebel Xt Sometimes when I try to take a pic it will not work!

one of my cameras does that. I shorted it out by using a non-compatible flash attachment. might need to take it in for repair. works fine without the flash though.
