I have a Sceptre X32-HD. The Power Supply board went simultaneously with the picture. Color is washed out and faded and leaves ghost images. Replaced the power supply, but that did nothing for the picture. Any suggestions?

SOURCE: I have a sharp aquos tv. If i leave the tv paused,

Sharp does not build plasma tv's. Its an LCD and yes older LCD's do get burn-in also. Its not as bad as Plasma, it is a bit of a problem it ruins the LCD panel. If out of warranty when this happens turn off Tv and allow it to cool down a bit, if in warranty have the replaced the panel.

Hope this help

SOURCE: 32" LCD HDTV Sceptre model x32, blue led but no pic or sound !

Having the same problem. Took it to a repair shop and they say it is some capacitors and the power supply... Which seems kinda hinky to me... I would think one or the other would be the problem, not both at the same time.

That is the power board for your television. I am not able to read the numbers on the item you are talking about. I dont beleive the issue you are talking about is related to the power board though. It is disturbing to note that none of the boards are in stock for your set. Also you should know that it is impossible to tell if some components have failed just by looking at them. Capacitors are one of those that come under this catagory.

What is the reason for my E701i-A3 failure? All boards were replaced, worked for a minute, and then had the same "fade to black" failure as the first time.

Your back light controller board or the ballasts for them may be bad if they weren't incorporated into the power supply board.

My Sceptre x32 tv turns on normally, but the picture begins to flash on and off repeatedly. volume is not affected. I've tried several reset methods, but nothing has worked so far. Any suggestions?

Back - light problem. Check and replace damaged component/s at its back-light inverter board, or replace this board as card basis. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. It will be best to replace the inverter board as card basis.

To some model sets; especially LED back-lighted types; the back-light inverter circuit will be part of the main power supply board [SMPS]. In such cases, the power supply board might need replacement. To some models sets, the back-light inverter and SMPS section circuit will be integrated at its main board itself. If so; the main board should be replaced. To some models of sets, all these section circuit will be integrated at its main board. If this is the case, you have to replace the main board.

I have a Sceptre X32 LED TV. It doesn't have any picture, sound or back light.

Fault to the main power supply regulator section. Either it will be a separate board, or the part of main board. Check and replace damaged component/s at its main power regulator [SMPS] section circuit. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts.

It will be best to replace the power supply regulator board as card basis rather than making "Surgery" to it; which usually will make loss for both money and time. Even though you can make it right, it will cost around an amount equal to the cost of a new board; including the cost of (spare parts + service charge) More to say, most of the spare parts to it will be difficult to get from open electronic spare part market. This is true to most of the flat panel TV power supply boards; irrespective of its brand and screen size...

Replaced all the capacitors in the power supply is the best bet to solved the power shut down.Becauce capacitors is unprodictable very small amount virable dip in Micro farets the whole power board will shutdown.Capacitors testing with the voltage meter is very hard to determine the micro farets in and out went power in use or power it off.
