Try checking the expiration date saved in the Paypal account for the credit card that you wish to use for payment to make sure it has not expired. If it has not expired and the date listed for that card in Paypal is current, then delete the card from your payment option choices. After the card is deleted, close Paypal and the internet. Reopen the internet and go back to Paypal. Choose add a new payment method and re-enter the credit card information that you wish to use as a payment source. This should correct the problem.

I have been paying a TV licence for a TV that is no longer working despite the fact that I phoned to report that I do not a a TV anymore I still get the bill. Please help

Send a letter (WITH TRACKING NUMBER) to the company, informing them that you are WITHHOLDING ALL future payments until AFTER the TV has been REPAIRED or REPLACED ... under the provisions of the Fair Credit Billing Act, which is a FEDERAL LAW in the USA! Copy your CONGRESSMAN on that letter! If you are paying by credit card, copy that letter to the credit card company (customer service dept.) as well. If you pay by bank draft, STOP the payments at your bank by signing an authorization at that bank! DON'T let the SWINDLERS get away with STEALING your money!!!!!

I made late payments in last four months and my credit score went down. Can anyone help me improving my score?

Your credit score is based on several criteria. The amount and type of lines that you have, your payment history for those lines, and registered liens, collections or judgements against you and how many times your credit has been viewed by members.
So if you have a collection of credit cards, most of which you don't use, cancel them. The more debt you have the more it will negatively impact your credit score. So the collection of store and major credit cards is not a good thing. Keep 2 and ditch the rest. Secondly, stop missing payments! It is very messy to keep missing the statement dates, not to mention expensive as most credit cards now charge a late payment fee. The good news is that the longer you go without missing payment the less of an effect the missed payments have. Make sure you do not miss more. It shows poor financial organization and makes you look unreliable.
If you have collections liens or judgements, you can find out if the have been discharged. If you have paid them and they are not showing as being discharged you need to contact the credit bureau and have that fixed.
Finally, do not continuously apply for credit cards. Every time a member (credit company) requests to view your history it reduces your score. So when they guy at the hockey game tells you applying is free, he is very very wrong, it costs you points off your credit score. The reason for this is that a constant flow of applications makes you look like a credit seeker. Not a good label. So even though you can get a discount for applying, unless we are talking a significant amount of money, don't apply for the store credit card.
If you credit needs a lot of repair, try getting a small loan. In Canada I would recommend an RSP loan. Then just make the monthly payments, DO NOT pay it off ahead of schedule; it is called a credit HISTORY which won't help you if there is no history to see because you paid the loan off before it matured. If you do something like this, do not miss any payments or all you have done is made a bad situation worse.
That is a lot of information. Hope some of it helps.

How do I remove credit cards no longer valid

Here's how to remove a credit card:
  1. Log in to your account
  2. Click Profile near the top of the page.
  3. Click My money.
  4. Click Update beside Debit and credit cards.
  5. Select the credit card to remove and click Remove.
A few things to keep in mind:
  • You cannot remove a card if you have a pending transaction or if your card was the backup payment method for a recent instant bank payment. Wait a few days and try again.
  • You may not be able to remove your card if you have a negative balance in your PayPal account. In this situation, you must bring your balance to zero or higher to remove your card.
  • If you remove your only card and have a confirmed bank account, you'll no longer be able to make instant bank payments. Instead they'll be sent as eChecks, which take 3 to 4 working days to process.

You may not be able to remove your card if you have a negative balance in your PayPal account. In this situation, you must bring your balance to zero or higher to remove your card.
