Ok, I don't have an XBox360 so I can't get specific but if you can't select hdmi input on the TV then you are probably not getting a HDMI signal. I would check your XBox360 set up to be sure that it is set to output video on HDMI not composit, s-video, or component. You might have to return to the last working setup and monitor so that you can see the menu to make the change.

Hope that helps,

Gil

When selecting the source, HDMI 2 will not highlight, Only TV. HDMI cable connected to box and to HDMI2 port on TV

You have to check the HDMI cable. In Samsung tvs the HDMI sources only highlights if the a proper HDMI sources is connected to the corresponding HDMI port of the tv. Also check by connecting any other device which have and HDMI connectivity to the HDMI 2 port.

No signal on tv

Your Samsung has an Input Source button on the remote. If you are getting a "No Signal" message, you either have no cable, dish, antenna, or HDMI input to the television or have the wrong source selected. With the television turned on and/or a cable box, dish etc turned on, select all of your sources until a picture appears.

I have a cable box connectin and cannot choose HDMI as a source. I had HDMI as the source for about two years and then something must have changed. I have verified the HDMI cable is not the problem. Page...

The manual is telling you that your "source", whatever you are connecting to a particular HDMI port, needs to be turned-on in order for the TV to detect it. Make sure that the HDMI cable plugged into the correct HDMI port for each device (TV & cable box) and that the cable box is on. Does the cable box HDMI port need to be selected in order for it to be functional or is it on all of the time? Check your cable box instruction manual for details on the proper way to enable (turn-on) or disable the various outputs if needed.

Let me know if you need additional info.

Xbox 360 hdmi cable

Make sure both the xbox and tv are on and tv is on HDMI source. It won't recognize each other unless xbox is turned on and tv is set to the correct source.
