BLUETOOTH I WANTED TO ASK IS THERE ANY FACILLITY OF BLUETOOTH IN INSPIRON 1501 IF NOT HOW I CAN I HAVE A DRIVER CD AS WILL PLEASE ASSIST ME

if you have windows7 then u do not need any kind of driver and if u have win xp then u have install the driver with the help of the cd which was given to u t the time of buying .install it and run it .your problem may be solved .

I have checked the Dell site and that model laptop (I assume it is the 1501 because there is no 15010) has no bluetooth drivers so you may want to check to be sure you have the right model and/or you are sure the machine has bluetooth.

Can you please elaborate the issue please.

You are not able to use you btooth now or it was never there in the computer?
Which operating system are you using?
Is it a laptop or desktop?

Here's a rundown of what you don't get in the Inspiron 1501 that comes standard with the Inspiron 1505, I am assuming yo did a typo with the 1550

• No dedicated media buttons on the front
• No Dell Media Direct software feature
• No FireWire port
• No S-Video port
• 3-in-1 card reader instead of 5-in-1
• No internal Bluetooth option

But if yours is the 1501 then just buy a $7 blue tooth doogle that slots into your usb then your bluetooth problem is solved.

Try uninstalling the bluetooth software and go to dells website for drivers. Put in your service tag number and download the bluetooth driver and reinstall...That should sort it for you..

This is a feature to protect your computer, should a thief have stolen it.

Turn the computer off.
Disconnect the AC-power.
Remove the battery.

Re-insert the battery.
Turn the computer on.
Does it still ask for a password?

If so, find your original sales-receipt, and telephone Dell, and ask them to assist you, as the "registered-owner" of the computer.

1. If you accidentally delete the icon from the desktop screen, then you may go to the Control Panel, right-click the Bluetooth icon > Send to > Desktop.

2. If you completely deleted the Bluetooth under the Add or Remove program, then get the CD that came with your mini inspiron, look for the Bluetooth driver and install it to your computer.

3. If you don't have the CD, call Dell and ask them where to download the Bluetooth driver for your inspiron.

Built-in Bluetooth adapters have different models, so you need to verify with the manufacturer about the exact model number of your Bluetooth and have a driver for it.

I looked over the system configurations for the Inspiron 1501, and it doesn't have Bluetooth capabilities built into it. The 1520 series does, but not the 1501. The only way you're going to be able to add Bluetooth technology is to purchase a Bluetooth usb adapter. Here's a link to the 1501 manuals if you would like to look over them.
