Was the developer also changed? Because who ever change the drum did it wrong. The first thing you do before you remove the old drum is cleared the drum counter, seems that was not done now the copier thinks the new drum is old and is applying the required voltages for a old drum even though the drum is new will have image problems and codes soon. Recommend you get a new drum, cleaning blade, and developer and replace them all their are normally done at the same time, because in a few week the developer will the go and so drum unit will show up a again. make sure you clear the counters first then install the parts and make sure you run the required F8 in service mode. Utility/Counter, Details then. stop00 stop01 for service mode. Under Function for F8 and counter for clearing developer drum image section which should be done after every forth drum the developer unit that hoses the drum and developer.

Open the top cover. Remove the drum (part with long green handle). Below the drum you will see a strip of glass about 4-5 inches long. Take a cloth and wipe across the glass.
This will normally clear up any white lines in your print.

You have plenty things to check sorry to say. What is the condition of drum and starter? What about the charge assembly? Is the grid still in good condition?
