i'm sorry this might sound as a bad news to you but if you are running on an official firmware, the only free games you would get are demos which you can download from the playstation network via your psp apart from that, there are no methods of getting free psp games that would run fine on official firmwares.
although there is an alternative of downgrading your psp to a custom firmware which would allow you to play homebrew games or allow you to download psp games onto your memory stick and play them.
it is important for you to note that downgrading your psp is not safe and it also requires quite an amount of expertise. it is advised you give it to an expert if you are to opt for this option.
