The LAN cable maybe faulty, try a different one.
If the LAN driver is not installed then download it.

As long as you actually have the model 3000 y410

before you install webcam driver make sure camera is on, you can check it by pressing FN + ESC key, then once enable, try installing/upgrading driver

eventually through continued research, i found out that this is a common issue with several mobo ang win7... SIS driver for LAN was the answer. i just downloaded the driver then install manually. although there is still no driver support intended for win7 as of the moment, vista driver does the trick...

Visit the Lenovo website and search up your computer model. Then click on "Drivers & Downloads" and select Windows XP Drivers and then download the LAN Driver from there.
