Hello,

A list of the European golf courses for the Approach S1 Golf GPS watch can be found on Garmin's website.

Will my garmin approach s1 work in New Zealand. It was purchased in Canada?

The GPS will work anywhere in the world but you have to have New Zealand courses installed. There are NZ courses available:

...but not owning an "Approach" GPS, I cannot advise on obtaining and uploading the required data to this piece of kit.

My sd card is missing on my Garmin Approach G5 Touchscreen Golf GPS. What do I do

You almost certainly do not need it. If your map list is not showing or if it locked try this:
Firstly, please connect your device to a computer. You will find a folder in the device called 'Garmin'. In this folder will be multiple files that start with the phrase 'gmap'.
Please delete the files starting with 'gmap'.
Once you have done this, please re-load the courses on your device using the Garmin CourseView updater which can be found here:

Garmin s1 strap broken

Garmin will do it, but at a cost of 61.27. My strap broke after only 17 months rendering the unit useless. I've asked them to consider the sale of goods act as I'm sure customers should have an expectation that they should last longer than that.

I can't download my selected courses..get to point where it says to turn on and connect Garmin Golf GPS gps, then nothing happens stays at 0% downlaoded

On my Garmin that is usually caused because the interface cable is not firmly seated into the slot. If all the contact points are not in place you will get that problem.

Can i down load golf courses to my garmin 260 i was told at the store this was possibble but i cant find any info on the garmin 260 gps on the garmin web site to tell me that i can do this. Or do i have to...

It's "possible" to use the 260 as a golf GPS unit, but it probably isn't going to be the golf tool the guy at the store promised.

1. There aren't any golf maps available for this unit, other than ones that have been created by users. 2. The 260 displays distance in feet or miles: is that a 5-iron? 3. The battery life is about 9 holes on the Nuvi series.

On the other hand, if you want to have a navigation GPS and also use it on the golf course, then you can check out the details on this website:
http://www.wideopenwest.com/~don_barger/nuvi-software.html

There are free maps for download and a web-based tool for creating your own golf maps.
