The best advice I have to offer for the Vizio VBR120 is to replace it with a better player from LG, Sony or Samsung. I replaced mine with a LG BR540 and haven't looked back. With Vizio you get what you pay for, junk. There is no update for a Vizio VBR120.
The frimware update cannot see the printer because the printer is in error state. You need to clear the error by disregarding the error. To do this, you to make the error invalid. Please follow the steps below:
1. Turn off the printer. 2. Press and hold the the "back" and the "left" arrow button, and then turn the printer on. 3. When the printer displays "Invalid Engine Code", update the firmware of the printer.
