O2xda Problem When i switch on the phone,my O2 phone appear please tap the screen to align the screen. i tap the screen many time,but cant't work. how?

The solution is simple. Please tap the screen exactly in the center of the '+' sign that appears on the screen. The + sign or the target keeps moving till the screen is not alligned. I faced the same problem and searched and found your query on many forums but no luck. So I actually resorted to aiming the target with one eye closed...and the damn thing worked in one shot.....Now my default settings have been installed. Lets see what is in store on the other side of the default installation.

please explain what you are doing with the alignment screen. Have you done the 5 point alignment method? have you confirmed it? if it cannot confirm your alignment and it is going back to the first step again, you need to change your touchscreen module.

You should align your screen by tapping each time (Just tap a bit carefully and with a little bit more pressure) that cross shows up during the setup process. It should take 4-5 steps and at the end you can follow the other setup instructions. Hope this helps.

All you have to do is tap the screen with the stylus (slim pen that is position on the bottom right side of phone) where ever you see ( + ). Follow the plus sign ( + ) where ever it is on your screen. It should go in 5 different directions on the screen before it prompts you to the next screen. This process is mostly needed for hard reset (starting from original factory settings) or if you need to align the screen with the stylus.

Please make sure while performing the aligning task to tap the center of the (+) as possible. Not doing so may result in a poor functioning screen.

touch and hold for 1 sec, rather than tapping

your touch panel could have died and you may need to replace it. i would try updating the firmware too that fixed a similar issue for me

   u just do one thing..restart ur phone again..& when it asks u to set up ur windows..than tap on the black spot firmly ...u just need to tap on than spot only..nthing else after that leave..it will start processing..& ur phone will be on.

have u tried "screen alignment" menu for configuration

This one is an easy one to solve. Much like with the other mobile phones there is the option to lock the device to prevent it from activating programs whilst it is in your pocket. Simple push the power button once to reveal the screen and at the bottom left corner there is a button called "Unlock". Once you click this another screen will appear with another button called "Unlock". Click this and your phone will be unlocked.
