first are you sure you have power to the unit?then if you do you could have an open neutral connection in the unit, the only fuse in these could be an electronic fuse on the control pad to protect the electronics on the circuit board

hello check to see if the long pin inside the door has not snaped off if thats ok .then check capacitor next to the motor inside the dryer may have blown

From what you have described the light on your Frigidaire dryer blinks and then shuts off. Which light are you referring to? If you could provide a little more information I could assist you further. -Matt
Hello ebega7 - I understand the lights are blinking; however will the display illuminate or allow you to program a setting? If it will not allow you to do so, try resetting the unit by either unplugging it or flipping the household breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes and turn on the dryer. Select a normal cycle and if it is ineffective contact a professional to move forward accurately. The unit may possibly have a defective cord or wiring, control board or door switch.
