What does code 82 mean on my vauxhall astra

A code 82 error means that you may need to go for an oil change. However, if you want to reset this error, do the following:
1. Put the ignition to ON position to get all electronics to work, but the car does not crank up
2. The code 82 will flash, but you should wait till the display shows the mileage
3. Toggle across to where it says oil
4. Now put your foot on the break, and press and hold the trip button, and you will hear an alert.
5. Switch off the car, and then turn it back on-the error should have gone away.

Change the time

Depending on the software of the Norstar it is connected to, you would log in to the key system by using Feature **23646 and then follow it up with the administration password.

If this is a pre 1.0 system, i.e DR5.1 do the following. If not, go to the bottom and click on the link and find the manual for the system your phone is connected to. Generally the system coordinator guide will have what you are looking for.
Setting the date
Begin with the display showing

l.Sys speed dial
1. Press [NEXT] (second key from the top on right for a 7310) twice.
2. The display shows 3.Time and date.
3. Press [SHOW] (first key on the top on the right for a 7310)
The display shows the time, for example, Time 01:00.

- All times and dates must be entered using numerals. For
example, February would be entered as “2”.
- The time may be entered in either 12 or 24-hour format. If the
display is in English, and the hour entered is less than
thirteen, the display prompts you to specify “am” or “pm”.

Press [Show] This will open the time change function. Simple rule. If you want to modify a value, press [CHANGE] and you'll get a cursor. Once you're done with that entry, press [NEXT] to go to the Minutes, press [CHANGE] etc...

I have also included how to change the date below.
Press [Next].
The display shows the date, for example, Date 31 Mar 91.
4. Press CHANGE (softkey under screen). The display shows Year: 88.
5. Set the year.
a. Press CHANGE.
A cursor replaces the number on the display.
b. Enter the year using the dial pad.
For example, press a a to enter the year 1990. ?
c . Press [Next] The display shows the month, for example Month: 01.
6. Set the month.
a. Press [CHANGE]
A cursor replaces the number on the display.
b. Enter the month using the dial pad.
For example, press 02 to enter February.
