Question about Philips HDD1630 MP3 Player
Try a soft reset by pressing and holding [VOL+] & [POWER]
whenever this happens, then try powering up again.
If this doesn't work, it could be corrupt firmware. Run the Philips Device Manager software (on the product CD). Select the Restore / Repair option and follow the on-screen prompts.
This will format the player and re-flash the firmware.
Note: ALL tracks will be deleted from the player.

You must run the "Repair" in the Philips Device Manager that came on the installation CD - also available on Philips website.
