I have a Casio Pathfinder 2805. The glass display screen is dirty on the inside. How do I remove the display screen to clean the inside?

Question edited for clarity.
Question moved from Casio Business Machines.

It is a job best left to a local jeweler when it is battery change time. The fact is got dirty inside means there must be damaged gaskets.

If you want to do it yourself, remove the back and lift the movement out, being careful to not damage the button contacts.

Wont boot, black screen and fan runs continuesly

Means the laptop is dirty inside, AND the Thermal Paste compound on the Processor, may have dried up.

(Graphics chipset too, if it has one. Otherwise it is part of the processor. Integrated Graphics)

Fan running continuously means the Processor is overheating.
Like I said; dirty computer inside, and dried up Thermal Paste.

Now,...........if you post the laptop manufacturer, and model number; you will get detailed info on repairing; and not this generic [email protected]
Model number is on the Bottom of the laptop.

Post back in a Comment.

Hello, I would check the carb for being dirty inside. It sounds like the needle valve is dirty, or not adjusted correctly, or there is rust in the carburator and any of these can cause the fuel not to feed into the engine properly. A good cleaning of the carb and proper setting of the needle valves should clean it up. Also check the screen in the fuel tank on the fuel valve.

A message of " entering power save" keeps popping up on my screen It won't allow me to log on, what 's the problem?

The computer isn't sending a video signal to the monitor. The monitor goes into power saver mode.

Problem could be as simple as the monitor cable is bad.
More than likely you have a bad Power Supply.

(If the computer is dirty inside, as well as the inside of the Power Supply, it's a good bet)

Do you wish to know a simple method of testing, whether the problem is the Power Supply?

2= outside lenses of picture tubes could be dirty.Unit can be opened .Outside lenses can be cleaned with a lens cloth .Do not use paper towels or cotton as this my scratch surfaces of lenses.
3= inside of picture tubes could be dirty. This should be done by a repair shop only(dirty coolant inside tubes)

Inside screen seems to be getting dirty

I had the same problem until I removed the screen and cleaned the front mirror with a static feather duster. First, turn OFF power. Second, remove screws on rear at top and on both sides of the screen. Third, remove speaker grill. Fourth, remove screws on each side of the screen where screen meets the speaker area. Fifth, remove two screws in center area of speaker area under screen. Sixth, lift screen up and away from set housing and use a duster with a two to three extension and GENTLY wipe the noticeable dust layer from the front tilted mirror located behind the screen at bottom of screen. Seventh, do everything in the REVERSE and you're done. If you need to replace the lamp, now's a good time to do so. Also you should clean the dust filter located behind an access door on the rear (right hand side as your are looking at the rear) with a handheld type of vacuum device.

After I completed ALL of the above procedures my WD-62525 was better than I remember. I bought it in 2005 and the picture quality has never looked so good.

The screen is as light as a feather but 62" is awkward. It is recommended you use another person to hold the screen but I work best alone and it was a breeze.

GOOD LUCK.

SMT 5600 does not load OS, screen goes white and then blank.

Screen sound bad, or intermittent connection inside. You can find disassembly instructions on the net. Search with phone model and disassemble. Remove and reattach all cables in case one is lose or contact dirty.
